undergrad- I gave up lookingLOL
grad-111

I definitely don't encourage anyone to go to an overpriced private school unless they have a scholarship. I can't believe blacks and latinos are STILL paying for these bachelors degrees with all the scholarships out there for us.

Yes, both my undergrad and grad school make the list. Interesting because my undergrad isnt ranked as highly in academics as my grad. (I know this is not based off of academics, Im just saying)

Its really not that simple when it comes to scholarships though. Sometimes people just end up going with whichever package is best , which may mean that they STILL have to come out of pocket.

Actually, if you could point out a few , I'd really appreciate it.

I'm not talking about those ridiculous fastweb scholarships. I'm talking about academic merit based awards for high GPAs and SAT scores that are given out by colleges and universities. Theres just no reason why people should be going into ridiculous amounts of debt for a bachelors degree...especially when 9 times out of 10, the degree is worthless without a masters or doctorate.

Oh, No I completely understand because I didnt get any of those scholarships at all. Im speaking for others just like me (including many students that I know). I graduated 2nd in my h.s class with a 4.1 gpa (weighted because I only took AP & honors courses throughout)and I definitely received more than one scholarship and numerous grants for all four years, but I paid out of pocket. Its really not as easy as you're making it sound .

-No shade intended , but it doesnt work like that for most. A recent study on how they dupe minorities in the higher educational system came out these week and if I find the article I'll attach it.
