School Daze is terrible.
Bamboozled bothered me...it was....I see what he's trying to do...but he tried too hard. 
Plus it reminded me of Hollywood Shuffle.

I´ve been done with Spike Lee .. for years. He´s talented and made a big name for himself only it all went to his head.

I think he´s just jealous of this movie .. plain and simple.
 
It comes out here in a few days and I will be sure to see it.

honestly, the cheezy singing is what REALLY did it in for me.  and the licking of the scalp...ewwwwwwwww.  the hazing....i could go on and on lol.  i mean i get that he was trying to call attention to ls/ds issues we so love to discuss even on bhm...but the movie itself annoyed me overally...

Enlightened minds regarding slavery were found in the north and outside of America.  The N word was used constantly in that period of time.  To suggest QT was trying to find a random reason to use it in a movie he made is like putting back on that tin foil hat and subscribing to conspiracy theories.  White people use the word at random when talking to, describing, or referring to us or people like us.  They did it then and they do it now.  RANDOM.  Just like our own kind use it in talking to, describing or referring to us or people like us.  My own mother still uses the N word.  She is from Mississippi.
 
Dick Gregory was educating some of yall but yall refuse to accept the truth.  The N word has been used Random but the white man wants to Control how often or when  and whom can use it.
