I have a few of them and I love them all. I love my D5 heavyweight and my D89 for blowouts. They are well made and last quite a while. I lose less hair detangling and styling with it.

Same here! The Denman brush makes my curls so defined when I'm doing my washes. I have a 3c/4a silky texture.

I use it to help remove shed hair only after I've finger detangled.

I have 4c, thick natural hair.

I use the D40 brush and I love it! The spaces are pretty far apart so my hair doesn't really snag.

Thanks chinyesoul! I never knew there was a d40! It looks nice, I might have to put this on my list.

I have a fake denman brush, it used to rip my hair out while I detangled.

But I've modified my brush and removed every other row of teeth.

I mostly finger detangle, and then run the modified brush through my hair 2-3 times to smooth the cuticles.

I have been using my Denman brush for 2 yrs with great success, but recently my hair has become very delicate with fall out. I will try modifying my brush today to see how well it will work
