Good Morning!

I'm in the proces of moving out and my deep conditionner is somewhere in a box. So, I was wondering if I can use regular conditioner like the Suave Naturals Coconut instead of deep conditioner.

I've heard some ladies having a problem with shedding from using a cheapie as a DC. You may want to add some oils to it to thicken it up a bit

I have used Suave Humectant to DC with heat before, but I added some oils to it, it worked fine for me.

It depends. Some conditioners are just meant to place a protective coat on the hair while deep conditioners are meant to penetrate the strands.

I believe Suave is not one of those. They are excellent for cowashing.

Yogurt, mayo, eggs, avocado and others make excellent deep conditioners.

Well, what I was going to say has already been added. I use my cheapie condish for DC but I add oils and sometimes yogurt or an egg.

I think you'll be fine if you do it once. Make sure that you use your regular DC when you wash again.

ETA: Sorry, didn't see your reply above, OP.
