For instance, BET has nothing original a la Supernatural, Nashville, Scandal, The Good Wife. All shows which I watch. Not only do you have to come strong, but you have to compete with other good shows with amazing writers out there. I'm not going to just give you a view because it's a black station. I watch other things on multiple networks that are amazing in my eyes. I am a loyal follower of most of my shows. I'm not going to give up watching something else I very much enjoy for the mere purpose of supporting a black station. If they want my view, they have to earn it.

Right. I'd love love to see a black "Charmed" or even a new "New York Undercover" type show.
They need a complete overhaul. The channel itself looks bootleg and home made. Put some money and effort towards quality shows. I mean... the WB started off back in the day with what was it...Dawson's Creek, Buffy, Charmed, Smallville line up. You want a more diverse audience...get something that is well done along with your ratchetness.

I haven't watched BET since Donnie Simpson and Sherry Carter left. BET used to be good; I always watched "BET Nightly News".

Who turns to BET for positivity? Actually, what person with sense turns to BET for anything? BET's reputation as decadent trash is well earned.

That's her excuse for going back to ratchet media for money. I longed turned away from BET for quality. As a matter of fact my tv has dust on it

It's true. Research show blacks rather watch ATL housewives ratchet behavior over a positive sitcom like Reed Between the Lines.
