I don't watch much tv but I find good stuff on random channels and CSPAN.

She is unfortunately right. But the channel is also to blame because for so long, BET has supplied television that showcases nothing of value.
The audience that can appreciate worthwhile programming has been long gone.
She cannot expect BET to magically instantly gain a more intellectual audience with a quick change of programming.
If she wants to revamp the long-standing low quality reputation BET has, she's going to need a lot more patience, far better advertising, and great quality television.

Ad yes I'd rather watch The Wire before Love That Girl any day of the week, or whatever still comes on BET.

I'd watch good shows that don't show Blacks as simple negative ignorant stereotypes.
I'd watch Black sport shows on BET. Throw on a retired athlete to do a round table discussion show.

 I'd rather watch Scandal than 106 and Park. I'm too old for many of the shows on BET. As far as "Don't Sleep," that show is too remedial for me. I prefer more complex political programs.
