It is depressing for me to spend those months relying on artificial light instead of natural light, so the flowers are really nice to have; my favorite is any yellow flower such as sunflower or the yellow Mums.

I wanna do a variation of this, instead of flowers, like light/bright colored decor. Like a bright bed spread/curtain combo with some happy accents. Thumbs Up

You might want to consider speaking with a professional.  It could really help.

A couple of things I do is:
1. Get massages
2. Wear super warm and comfy clothes in the house
3. Spend time with quality people
4. Spend quality time with myself
5. Get back into my hobbies

I wrote my latest blog post on this if you are interested thisisalloftheabove.blogspot.com

What do you ladies do?

I love winter!

My personality is more introverted, so I rarely experience loneliness.

I enjoy my alone time and find peace in solitude.

Winter is one of my favorite seasons -  this is the perfect weather to stay home snuggled up in warm clothing and covers, and relaxing with a good book. I'm a homebody and even when it comes to social interaction, I prefer being in the company of my family and close friends as opposed to large social gatherings/parties.

Tell me about it! I was tested 4 years ago when I moved and my level was 3. My doctor asked me if I was feeling ok and I was put on an emergency dose of Vit D for several weeks after that. I stopped taking it after awhile and it dropped again.

I started taking 10,000 iu in Feb of this year and got tested in April and my levels were only 24. Continued to take the same dose and had my levels tested again Nov 11 and my level is 34. Now my doctor has me on 15,000 iu. Some reason my body is not using my Vit D3 I take. I guess it's storing it but it can't be using it if my levels are still so low after taking that dose most of this year.

My moods still swing and I am like Queen bitch fairly often. And my hair will hardly grow as a result also.

I was reading about VitD3 issues with deficiency and toxicity and found this tidbit below interesting. I know how much we like to shower/bathe here on bhm LOL

<<With Vitamin D3 deficiency becoming an epidemic, it is possible that upper atmosphere pollution is blocking the needed UVB light from the sun. Or simply that people are washing daily; if you wash skin exposed to the sun within 48 hours, you wash off the oils where the vitamin D production starts.>>

I've been enjoying my own company lately but usually I do get that seasonal thing

I just picked up some D3 gummies today so hopefully this will keep me in a good mood

Once in awhile I do get in a funk and I don't know why. I hate it
