Dating out of your league

but i am just as awesome in different aspects.. and he adores me, sooo i guess that officially negates him bieng out of my league..

First, this was my first serious relationship.  I was 18. He was 25.  He came from a wealthy family, a famous family.  I was from a poor family, never had "nice things", never really traveled,  and I was "virginal".  I was naive, trusting, not sophisticated; he spoke 3 languages fluently, and was world traveled.  He was a musician, and his parents owned a resturant.  Everything he taught me was new. I didn't know how to dress for the occasion, or what to say to people, cause I was shy had never been taught.  I had never lived on my own either.  So I felt he was out of my league.  He did teach me a lot.  We were together 4 solid years, 5, off and on.  And even today we are still friends, and he told me once, I was the one that got away.  

 

Glad to say that I grew, and learned and changed, and he never made me feel less for not being uppity or conceited.  I think that's what he like about me.

 

Oh boy those were good times. Lol.
