All the things you guys are saying about middle-aged women in the dating world makes me scared to get older!! Thank god I am 20
And I think a person can indeed measure their own attractiveness, especially if they get a certain amount of attention.

Why are you trying to trap any body? Marriage shouldnt be a game of cat and mouse or trapping. and how does one go about said trapping...?
| I probably worded that wrong. No marriage is not trapping, but I feel that if I would marry someone that young, it would feel like entrapment later on. A 24 year old has no business being married to a 30 yr old. Even if he's all for it, later on he might think, ” damn, i.didn't get to live out my 20' s, I got trapped”

It aint that hard to date after ur 20s Unless:
- you have multiple children
- No career
- Unstable financially
- Horrible selection in men

| Depends on what state you live in too. For me, I wasted my prime years on a horrible person, ie, horrible selection of men which you spoke of. I also don't meet anyone good or anyone period.

it's not even an attempt to be super rude or to throw shade. i am not even trying to read OP but many men...even if they are old...want to date women in their 20s. it's gross & unfair but in the dating world after a certain age, men have the upper hand. why? bc men are still seen as a prize as they age, are typically considered "better" looking and more attractive, especially if they have a career and no kids...whereas women are just seen as..old...and "what-is-wrong-with-her-why-isn't-she-married."
mens stocks rise with age, while womens decline. probably why so many women will tell younger women to not be so picky [idk about that line of reasoning but i have never heard of a man receiving such advice]
..and the men will date younger women who they think are more flexible and have less bag.gage
|
Men ALWAYS have the upper hand in dating. But because most young men don't know how to control their thirst, that makes womens feel empowered.
