All this geriatric wants to do is talk about feelings. Pays me too many compliments, it makes me feel a bit uncomfortable. I don't know how to get out of it since we kinda work together. I tried to play the, its not you, its me card but he didn't care and wants to ” help” me get past my ” problems”.

I always said that I wouldn't date someone younger than me more than a year and I'm 26. I always preferred older, 1-5 years older at maximum. My boyfriend is 34 and we're 8 years apart. It bothered me at first, but now not anymore. It mostly bothered me because he's the same age as my brother and we're really close. Once I got to know him and left the age thing alone, it was cool. Sometimes when we talk there is a small generational gap but its mostly music related. It's actually refreshing because he's like no guy I've ever dated and one guy was 7 years older than me. He's very mature and not about games, I love it.

Lol! He talks tooo much. Like redundant. Its not just the compliments. He talks about alll his feelings and expects me to do the same and wants confirmation about everything. I'm laid back and sound like it on the phone and he feels that I don't like him because I don't sound peppy enough on the phone and he goes into a long drawn out conversation about it all the time. I'm different in person though and he knows this, yet he can't get over my phone voice.
