my goal for the past few yrs was to get one of those dna ancestry kits done. i think they're like $350 for your maternal and paternal lines. If i can spend that on hair, i can spend it on this. i dont know how accurate they are though. |
its on sell for $99 on 23andme.com....I did it for free a year ago when they had a promo...its the most accurate of what they got as of 2013...you'll get your lineages..since u a woman u only get your mom's tho...and your autosomal dna..also health traits

i forgot about this but it did say on the site that it's bc the fathers mitochondrial dna is destroyed at fertilization but the mothers is passed on to m+f children.

Am I? You're being very sensitive today. I mentioned the creole thing because I wasn't sure whether you were haitian or not. Again, I don't always pay attention to screennames that closely, as I am not part of the clique. And if you feel that I portray myself as an authority on all things haitian, that's your problem, not mine. I'm a huge history buff, especially of black history and I have travelled extensively. So why wouldn't I comment on it? The compensating part is hilarious. I love Guadeloupe as well. I only focus on haitians because being raised in Montreal, I'm around them more.
