Have you ever been? Or hang around haitians of various regions and socio-economic groups? Cause if you haven't, your comment is useless. Haitians do have the strongest african-infused culture of all the Carribbean, though and that's undeniable. Slavery stopped well over a century before everyone else

Of course, he's not creole. Creoles are folks from New Orleans and around there. Whereas for haitians, creole means our language. However, both he and Usher look haitian to me and I've heard for the longest that Usher was part haitian. With a last name like "Raymond", it's hardly surprising Are you haitian, btw?

LOL, honestly I forget. Sometimes I get caught up in debate and don't necessarily retain names. Which is why I can agree with someone one day and find them idiotic the next. I guess I AM getting up there in age, lol

Scroll up a few pages. Any random black can look haitian. It's already been stated. When I look at Kanye, if I don't hear him speak and don't know who he is, I could easily think he's haitian. Same goes for Usher.

Yes I am Haitian(among other things).I would have thought it was clear by my umpteen posts in this thread about my family. Where did I say he was creole? You're beginning to bug me. The way you type is as though you feel you are the end all be all authority on everything Haitian on BHM and that you are the most knowledgeable about Haitian culture. It's like you're compensating for only being half. Please stop.
