Haitians lack pride. It's understandable to some degree because we've been shytted on so much but it's discouraging. Let a thread say anything stereotypical about a jamaican, barbadian, trini or african and they will pick the pieces of your body from the sidewalk with a spoon. But haitians always tryin' to divert or kee kee. And the funny thing is that I'm the one who's half guadeloupean. So annoying | Oh stahp it

is that what you gathered from this between you & gimme exchange? interesting. |
I wasn't singling you out. It's not this thread alone. It's every thread. It's something I've noticed a long time ago. Go ahead and say something stupid on Bhm about someone jamaican and watch the response. They'll light a hot fiyah on your ass. Now say somethign stupid on BHM about haitians. kee-keeing, laughter and food |
i haven't seen those threads. but again--im here for keekees in general so i igg drama as much as i can tbh. i might throw a lil shade, stir a lil pot, ask a messy question...lol...but i try to keep it light. im not here to educate these coloreds.

On the contrary, I think having too much pride has inhibited us from moving forward. I don't know where that assessment came from but okay.

Can you make pikliz and epis? I use frozen squash as opposed to cooking the squash. It cuts down on time and it's still very flavorful You need maggi, adobo chicken seasoning from goya, and chicken bullion from goya I believe. Cook you beef in advance. Get good pieces. I prefer red cabbage. I boil potatoes separately and at them in last minute with the noodles. Next time I make it, I'll write down the step by step and send it to you

hmm i can make epis. i avoid pikliz bc i dont like very spicy things. ok that sounds manageable. when my grandma makes it it takes hours and i get disinterested so i go take a nap |
Which is why it took me so long too learn to make it. I was like 19 or 20 by the time I learned. I started learning when I was about 12
