it would make sense since the islands are small so it's easier for certain genetic make-up to get passed around. my great grandfathers family is from the south and we have a specific last name. My aunt told me when I meet someone with that last time 90% they are family. PRob had the same plantation owners

You know what, though? A lot of the time, it has more to do with the way a person dresses, speaks and carries herself. I bet if that Future dude dressed and carried himself more like a person born and raised in Haiti, people would have known right away that he was haitian. A lot of haitians in the States that are born and raised in the States, you cannot really tell until they tell you.
