Certain ppl from certain cultures have features that enable you to identify them. Get mad if you want...but it's true.
I've seen Nigerians be able to identify other Nigerians without the other party having uttered a word.
I've seen islanders do it as well..shrug

That's like saying "I always thought dark skinned black americans spoke like slaves and the light ones were educated" I do not have round eyes. Nor does anyone in my family that I can think of.

Haitians are not a "tribe". We're from different tribes from all over the African continent, just like AA's. So to say that haitians have a look and jamaicans have another look doesn't make any damn sense. What's racist is a lot of AA's assumptions of what haitians are supposed to look like. It kinda get on my nerves. There's a reason all these artists are "in the closet", like someone stated earlier and that they would feel that they have to hide their ethniticity to make it just pisses me the hell off. | Future very likely did not hide his ethnicity lol. Wouldn't have mattered either way. He probably just doesn't openly rep it. Trinidad James reps his home nation. Flags all in the video...in his name.

well one postersaid haitians have tight eyes (did you mean almond shape?) one poster said round. You never know who is what. And it's that fact that people are always trying to group different blacks buy who looks the blackest. Daphny probably wanted to say that haitians usually have "stronger black feats" (am I wrong, if so sorry)

I was speaking in general terms. Didn't even know who that Future dude was. But trust and believe that there have been a lot of black performers in the past that have gone out of their way to hide that they were haitian and you would never know about it unless you were in the know. Hell, I'm saddened to say that I even have cousins in my own family legally changing their damn names to fit in. That shyt has always bothered me. Even when Maxwell came on Oprah and revealed that he had haitian heritage during the earthquake situation, he almost seemed embarassed about it, talking about "I'm haitian on some level". Haitians have been discriminated against by everybody, really, including other west indians because of socio-economics. I remember growing up, jamaicans used to call us "regulars"
