I know, that's why I said I have always been fascinated by it all. I was on Youtube and happened to catch this video. And you know the rest, lol - make a thread. |
You should see the ones in Thailand. I didn't know that like that there too. I think I waswatching afropunk or globe trekker something like that. And they had some Thai reggie band(I think), they didn't sounded too bad.

That's amazing power of music, dancehall and re e! I love it, because Japan has some of the most amazing Re e presence in terms of their cultural appreciation to Jamaicans/West Indians on a whole.
It's always nice.

Dancehall's been big in Japan for a long time. I remember
back in 2002 when Junko (Japanese gyal) was the first non-Jamaican to win JA Dancehall
queen competition. BTW I agree with coconess, you don't have to have a
big donk to know how to dance. Dancehall
competitions are about rhythm and flexibility; it’s not about having a big
ghetto booty & twerkin. There’s much more to it than that. Yea those chicks are kinda whack, but dis gyal....http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=JX8ptm8diNo

I love Junko! She'd get cross in the bashment.
