Prince had the greatest Super Bowl performance of all time. Mrs. Carter comes in at number 2. She outdid Madonna and that horrible MIA, Minaj collabo last year.
Tom Petty, The Who and Springsteen were boring as I hated HATED Paul McCartney's halftime show. I cannot stand Hey Jude. Every event, they always feel the need to trot out his geriatric ass and have him singing "nanananaaaaa..." |
Number 2??? Of all time? How many heinekens did u have? |
You don't remember Prince singing and playing Purple Rain in the actual rain? |
Purple...I've watched prince's performance on yt but mrs carter at no. 2? Idk...maybe destinys child or the songs brought her down but I just didn't feel it...felt like the bet or MTV awards. |
Very true @ the bolded. The people I watched it with complained that she wasn't singing, but simply shouting and scowling at the audience with some choreography thrown in. Bey didn't really sing till Angel. Between the geriatric rockers, the Black Eyed Peas, Nipplegate and that Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige, Kid Rock MTV cluster*&%^$#@E, the bar for halftime shows have been set pretty low. I was excited when Kelly and the other one jumped out from underneath the stage like ninjas.

I noticed this last night as well. A local radio station here, asked on their fb pager what people thought, and of course the white rednecks posted such negative comments. It's a shame
