Damn - why white folks mad??

There was so much hype surrounding this show.....Billboards, press conference, commercials, Ads...... and it fell flat to me.....

Some of those people were overboard in their comments ("Destiny orphans"); just malice in their heart. I thought the performance would good, the singing was great and the dancing was good. 

I was posting on several forums during the super bowl. During the halftime show I checked out the front page of this college football forum with 95% southern rednecks posting on it. It's a fun forum for football, but I can tell half of them are racist so I avoid non-football threads.

During Beyonce's performance, the entire first page was about how terrible of a performance it was. One thread in particular was titled "Black folks mad cuz people hate her performance."

I clicked the thread, and the first response was "White folks mad that a a black singer is on their TV. Typical."

I laughed out loud. Good comeback for whoever wrote it.

I'm certainly not "mad" about it, more annoyed - like someone else had mentioned earlier, there's always this underlying micro-aggression filled vengefulness when it comes to black performers...

Some of you guys are super defensive. Wow.
