I love the effects OF baking soda for my skin in terms of clearing black marks and decreasing shine. So much so that I want to use it as a daily exfoliate. But is it mild enough to use daily? If not what are some good suggestions? I know that not everyone should exfoliate daily, but I have very oily skin and i read it is ok for people who have that skin type. Thank you

Some people has great success with using baking soda daily.  Unfortunately I am not one of them.  But if you intend on using baking soda daily, please remember not to exert too much pressure when using baking soda or else your skin would be raw as h#ll.

I wouldnt do it. This is the same stuff you can shine pans with, disinfect, whiten teeth, get the stench out of your sink with and whiten white clothes. Once in a while cool, but everyday seems way too much

For oiliness masking your face about twice a week is great. Ibe tried it and even Dr Oz recommends it.

Is this better than the aspirin scrub!?
If it reduces shine and is as thorough at expoliating like aspirin I'm in!

just an update, I have discontinued daily use of the baking soda because it did start to irritate my skin and cause redness. I have reverted back to using about twice a week.
