hey guys!
I've been in transit mode for a while now but I think I'm ready to cut off my relaxed ends. My natural hair is only about 3-4 inches long if that but I just can't deal with the two textures My relaxed ends are just so brittle and get tangled and break when I do anything with my hair.

Anyways do you guys have any suggestions on cutting it off? I'm afraid of a salon since they might cut too much off. or if you have any suggestions on handling the 2 textures specificly when wet.
sorry for any typos and tia for any advice

cutting it wet will be better since you can tell the two different textures don't let your hair dry if it do spray with water in a bottle or rinse to keep from drying long as it don't dry you should be good.

Get in that bathroom mirror with a pair of hair shears and get to snippin' missy lol

Have hair elastics and hair clips so you can section hair off. I put hair into 4 sections first. Starting with 1 section, chop off the obvious relaxed parts in one big chop, then section the hair in that into a small part(like you're flat ironing), spray each one with water to see the difference between natural and relaxed and then snip. You can do the back of your hair in the bathroom mirror too. After you're done, wash and condition and voila!

And make sure you post pics.Tongue

I just went to a salon and got my relaxed cut today. I was going to do it myself, but I was too afraid. Tongue I'm really happy with the results.

I cut mine wet so my kinks curled up and I could clearly see the difference.
I used a detangler and a denman brush in small sections until my whole head was finished.
I felt liberated once I was finished, and then panic set in as I realized I only had a couple inches of hair on my head.
