Custom U-Part Wig From Roman

Initial reaction: (Remember this is my first custom order) I wished i would have ordered it longer. It came in a long plastic ziplock type bag so when i took it out it looked shorter than what I like. I'm 5'11 so I like long hair and whats long for the average woman is not that long on me. After reading horror stories about the smell of hair I was praying to baby Jesus that my hair didnt smell like a midget stripper working overtime on Memorial Day Weekend in Miami . It did however smell like someone chain smoked unfiltered cigarettes while they were making it. 

The hair itself was very soft no tangles or shedding when initially running my fingers through it. So because my Type A personality tends to second guess decisions I put the hair back in the bag and didnt look at it again until yesterday. Took it out and decided to co wash and deep condition. The water ran clear no residue or anything like that which was a good thing. However the ashtray smell got a little worse. I used Organix Brazillian Keratin Therapy conditioner to cowash and did it about 3 times. To deep condition I used Silk Elements Mixed Silk Deep Conditioner and let it sit for 20 minutes.

After deep conditioning I finger combed it and just let it hang dry. When I woke up today it was pretty much dry and O-M-G! This hair is gorgeous! I'd say it's like a 1B maybe a 2 with slightly lighter brown natural highlights. There is one gray strand but it doesn't bother me I think it adds to the natural look of the hair. The cigarette smell is completely gone too!

Looking at it now clean dry and in its natural state I'm happy with my purchase! Like everyone says you take a risk ordering from a CV and I'm not one for gambling with my cash. Looking at the construction of the cap it looks like I can add tracks to it if I wanted to get the desired length I want. I'm not installing it for another 2 weeks because I got it specifically for my vacation. I will be sure to post pics when I install.
