Curly Question

Sooooo even though it's january I'm planning for my late spring/summer install. I live on the east coast and humidity is the devil. So, like most people, I've stuck to curly hair as my summer staple, but i can never find anything that really matches my hair's actual texture, not the curl pattern the actual texture. All the kinky curly I've tried is just to silky. The pattern kinda matches but the texture doesn't, and I dont really want kinky curly anyway. I'm kinda looking for a med/low luster light yaki/slightly coarse deep curl. Does that even exist? Something kinda like what the D pattern of the Vendor whom shall not be named sells. Has anyone had any luck finding something like this anywhere? Or am I just hoping for the impossible? TIA
