I guess it is a good development if less people are using chemicals on their hair and scalps.

For those still on the search:
Conditioners without SLS(Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulfate, which can be very drying for the hair), without parabens(chemical preservatives),without mineral oils and that are PH balanced and silicone free(mainly if you're going to use a sulfate free shampoo) are most likely to give good results and might be suitable as a leave-in/ moisturizer.
Best way to test if it's suitable as a moisturizer is to use it on dry hair, if it is absorbed by your hair and doesn't leave it crunchy or dry and brittle you will know that you just might have yourself a winner.
At the moment I am using Yes to carrots and conditioners from a local store brand here called "de tuinen".
