A conversation is different, I'm talking about a simple hello, or GM. I was raised to always speak when entering a room, thought it was proper manners, I guess I could be wrong.
yes, I do that too, but ur op said engage convo.  Aint nobody obligated to talk to me unless I'm asking them a question

We work directly with each other on  about 90% of all projects. In fact, I work under her, and rely on her direction for the days tasks. It just feels weird, but I sense she may be the type of person that has to warm up to you.

i'm cool with my co workers. the lines of communication stay open and we are like a little family tbh.

but not to derail, i have spoken on my brother's relationship with a white woman. this bish does not speak to anyone in our family and refuses to attend any of our family gatherings. i thought she was just shy at first so i would initiate the conversations with her but she was always very short and never looked me in the eye.

none of us in the family even bother to communicate with her anymore. fck her.

This, or co workers that speak to me. Truedawg, it's funny because I was going to create a post about the same thing as well.

I've had co workers not speak to me, or go out of their way to say hi to everyone except me. I do not give them more than a hi and bye as a result.

i've thought about it but i won't stoop down to her level. like bunny said, i just keep it moving. at one point my mom was ready to cuss her the fck out but she also said, fck it. we just gone let him learn the hard way.

Welp...perhaps just say hello to her (if u feel to) when she comes in and leave it.  Don't force anything.  She is the way she is.  How long have y'all worked together?
