Yes, exercising is key while waist training! The corset will take care of the diet part. lol it is not so much what u eat as it is how much u eat. It is essential to do ab/core exercises and cardio to keep your muscles worked bc the muscles in the abs and back will atrophy after a while of wearing the corset and not using those muscles. Cardio speeds up the loss in waist inches so much more than wearing the corset and doing nothing else. gud luck ma! |
FOR ME IT IS ABOUT WHAT I EAT!!! >.< I still need to figure out my bloat-triggers to be able to keep this flat stomach. The probiotics I've been taking for months now seem like they're FINALLY giving me stable results. Of course, I could also just be going through a phase and end up constipated again tomorrow. >.< PLEASE LET IT BE WORKING. I'M FINALLY STARTING TO SEE MY ABS AGAIN. I LOOK TOO GOOD, I DON'T WANT TO GO BACK TO ALL THAT BLOAT.
My friend's corset can already almost completely close. I can't believe she's actually THAT tiny. It really is all water weight from hypothyroidism! We got the bottom closed last night completely, and the rest is so close to being closed, but she had to take it off at the concert because she literally thought she was going to die. xD I think even so it was more that she already wasn't feeling good and began dancing on top of that, rather than the corset tightness itself.

oh no...be careful. The gap in the back of the corset should be even from the top to the bottom for proper fit and comfort. there is a vid on youtube about the shape of your laces in the back when u lace and what it means.
check it out

I know, we just had it like that the once for about an hour. The rest of the corset is so close to being closed that it wasn't damaging anything, so we weren't worried. Great video, though. It's weird, she's a VERY HIP-Y pear shape (43"), but she's also got hypothyroidism, so it's all water weight. I think this is what makes us able to lace the bottom slightly more than the top even though she's got such large hips! I unfortunately have a short torso, so I think once I'm more trained and able to close the top and middle (I come very close to it), I'll still have to leave the bottom slightly loosened. I'm hoping that over time, corset training will help lengthen my spine even more, and my hips will no longer cause problems. :/ I looked at myself in the mirror yesterday, holy crap am I amazed. Because of my scoliosis, I was never able to stand straight up. Even when I thought I was standing tall, I wasn't really, and would get back pains from even trying. Now my slouch is standing perfectly tall, and when I correct my posture to stand taller, my back arches (which is what I'm going for). I just LOOK so much healthier because of this!!! And standing tall no longer hurts me; it's actually more comfortable for me now than slouching!

I got my new 18" corset and love it so much! It's so much more comfortable than the previous one. I would post pictures but I don't know how.. Lately I haven't lost any more inches and I was already getting worried until I measured my butt and I've grown 1 full inch! Somehow the corset seems to make me eat more Also I've been doing the fish oil thing like once a week

My corset doesn't make me eat any less or more. :/ Just makes my indigestion more painful. LOL I still haven't lost any more (back at 25", ugh), but I'm keeping this shape very well. It feels so weird to have a curvy waist! Hopefully I'll start keeping inches off soon, although I know I can't rush things. I'll be so excited once I can finally close the corset!

I'm going back to corsetting since I just had a baby. I lost the baby weight, still want to lose a few more inches around my waist.
I tried the squeem, it was good for two weeks but then it started fitting looser, and the rubber started separating from the cotton. Eventually, the rubber ripped and now I feel like I wasted money. It was only $35 though. Plus, I kept getting bad skin irritation on my waist, because the rubber doesn't allow ur skin to breathe.
I'm ordering another corset from timeless trends, they have the new longer cut corsets!
