This is a No Judgment Zone

Just be mindful that there is a possibility that after 6 months your hair may become matted.
Detangling will be difficult, and you may lose a lot of hair.

Good Luck and keep us posted.

I will definitely post pictures Shannymatthews but I haven't been consistent with progress pictures so I'll see what I can find. Its know surprise that my hair has already matted up but LOTS of TLC will be needed when I take out these corn rolls. And its not as much growth as I wanted so I don't think I'll attempt to try this again. Anywhere between the 1st or 3rd week of December I'll post pictures.

Hello All

I had such a hard time getting my hair out not sure how I have any hair left.Tangles and knots I had to cut some hair.I took a few pictures not sure how to add them from my phone (help). My hair didn't grow all that much for leaving it in for over 6 months not worth seeing in my opinion but I'll share if anyone interested. My diet is awful and I just started exercising again so I'm on a journey to clean eating & a lot water drinking.

Hair starts to matt as early as 2 weeks. It would be best to take  out the cornROWs and REBRAID them every few weeks to avoid losing hair from tangles and matts. Also, spray  them with some thing like carefree curl instant moisturizer daily or else water with 100% natural oil in a spray bottle daily

If you do not take care of your hair under there it will dry out and snap, tangle and tear out or matt and be lost. So yeah.  You can NOT ignore your hair if you want it to grow.  Definitely spray with curl moisturizer daily and take it out deep condition and  re braid at least every two weeks.

It's awful but I have my hair in 8 individual braids and wear my wig over it. My hair is beyond dry and the ends are brittle especially with this cold weather. The wig is so convenient that a lot of the time I forget to moisturize my hair. My problem with taking out my hair so often is that I need a lot of time to manage it and I get frustrated. But your absolutely correct if I want my hair to grow I have to take care of it.
