i feel bad for you guys..
i used to hate how skinny i was, i did and ate everything to gain weight.. it took some help but i finally gained weight and ive kept like half of it.. but i was always curvy.. even at like 110.. thats why i mentioned the squats, lunges, etc.. i danced so im pretty sure that was the reason for my large glutes.. now that im not dancing and havent worked out (due to an injury) ive lost most of my butt.. but kept my weight.
i will get it back.. but yea, i agree with eanaj.. i know its hard but try to just be thankful that youre not fat and work with what you were given (if the exercises and high calorie healthy food doesnt work).

It's not so much my slimness that bothers me, it's the fact that I'm shaped like a fawking ice cream cone. No matter how much I try to build my legs up, they'll still look unproportionate to my top half. Plus, I don't want the very little softness I have to my lower half to get hard if I weight train |
unfortunately, there isnt too much you can do about this to physically change it. The most you can do is try more weight training and wear clothes that create an illusion of your desired shape, or play up your assets. learning to love yourself as you are wouldnt hurt either, i know it sounds cliche and its easier said than done but you will feel a world better than you do now when you get there. chin up mama, you seem like a really sweet girl, somebody will notice that for sure

I do wish I were as slim as I used to be. as a kid and teen. but I was super active then. I know if I get active again, and clean my diet up that I will lose all the extra fat Which is my plan.
TBH I would give up the 'black woman curves' to be as slim as say...Lindsey Lohan. I don't care about ass like that. But then again, I'm not in America, and black men in America have really fuked up their womens' self esteem when it comes to their behinds, IMO.

I think instantly to the intro of 'confessions pt II'.
Where's Skittles Boo? Does she need bail money today?

No. She's been sick to her stomach all day so she's been in the bed. No, I did not have anything to do with it, but I am not empathetic, nor am I sympathetic.

Is that the one in the red bottle? I likes that one. It mixes well with my body chemistry.

I really loathe my figure. Shake what your mama gave you they said. Well she kept it all for her self, so I'm stuck with my manly body: wide shoulders, no hips, or ass, and a waist that won't curve. And add some lovely chicken legs
I'm tired of seeing stuff like "real women have curves" and "guys don't like skinny girls, cuz they have nothing to grab onto" and using "the body of a 13 year old boy" to describe someone with my body type. It makes me feel unnattractive, unsexy, and undesirable. And somehow not black enough?
Everyone thinks its ok to make fun of the way I look, my friends make fun of my lack of ass, my ex tried to give me advice on my diet so I'd gain weight, my coworkers love pointing out how thin my legs are, my dance teacher had too many jokes about how I'm her only black girl and I don't have an ass... My mom's boyfriends told me me that I'd have a better time finding a boyfriend if I gain weight.
One guy said I could be a perfect 10 if I had a "bad body" I guess face<<<body
If I see one more poem about the beauty of black women on tumblr that mentions "the wide span of our hips" I'm gonna scream.
I tried gaining weight, I gained 10lbs of extra back and stomach fat and a prediabetic condition. So I had to lose the weight.
I also hate when people tell me, "oh you'll gain weight when you're older/get pregnant" Um no I want to feel/look attractive more now when I'm young, wtf?
Lets not forget all this scientific evidence that shows men are attracted to a curvy shape because it symbolizes fertility. Ok |
Despite my unpopular opinion ( for the folk i know were going to bring it up ) girl there are plenty of men who like slim girls! At the end of the day you have to work with what you were given. Have you tried changing your wardrobe around? Sometimes clothes can make all the difference Please remember that looks are indeed temporary Focus on getting healthy instead and the other things will come!

This! You'll be okay girl.
