Hey Ladies -
Question, I'm no expert and I hope someone can help me.  I wear lace wigs and half wigs.  On your lace wigs...what is the correct shade for your part?  Should it be the exact shade of your face concealor or one shade lighter????

I use a lighter shade of pressed powder, which seems closer to 'scalp shade' than what I wear on my face.  I don't like using anything but powder as it is less messy and clumpy on the lace, to me.

I always go a shade lighter. My scalp is a bit paler than my face.

Ladies - Thank you, I'm going to test but I think I might need to go one shade lighter. I can see the difference in the picture below...comments welcome...good or bad....

I appreciate constructive HELP because I do not have a lot of friends or coworkers who wear wigs so I learn everything from you tube and sisters online.

I have the wig behind the hairline, it is model model natural part lace front sienna cut shorter to shoulder length.

In the part, I go lighter, blending into my hair line I go darker. Those high def cameras with flash will show that make up "trick"
