After dealing with constipation for some time, I used the  Colon Formula by Dhealthstore and got great results. It is an all natural, safe, vegetarian formula that is effective.  It definiety works but will not have you rushing to the bathroom all night. The cost is $16.95 for 100 capsules (comes in a liquid from as well). They ALWAYS have a sale where you can get it for half the price. Here is the link: Big smile

I also included an article about intestinal health written by Djehuty Ma'at-Ra the founder of Dhealthstore.

ntestinal Health

You may have heard that life and death, sickness and disease start in the colon. Well, I'm here to tell you that this is true (on a physical level, as all disease is first energetic in all truth and factuality). To physically heal the human body of any degenerative disease, you must place emphasis on cleansing first and foremost, and if necessary, repairing. There are many ways to cleanse and repair the colon and there are also many helpful tools that can help you to do such.

Nothing sabotages the health of the colon like the S.A.D. (Standard American Diet) which is greatly acid-forming and thus mucus-forming. The S.A.D. is too full of unhealthy and toxic meat (slaughtered animal flesh) and dairy products (animal excreta, liquefied cow pus and snot) and nothing does in human health like eating animal fats and proteins, as the human body cannot properly digest these things or so-called foods.

Just as bad for the health and wellbeing of the colon are refined grains and starches. Most of the refined grains people eat break down into a gluey and paste-like substance that actually and literally stick to the walls of the colon. Consuming dead foods cause the stools to become hardened and brick-like, impairing smooth bowel movements and transit time and ultimately leading to CONSTIPATION.

It is reported that some 90% of Americans are constipated (with most folks not knowing they are). This is not hard to believe when you consider obesity rates here in the U.S. Make no mistake that obese people are constipated. A lot of the weight (waste) obese and overweight people are carrying (especially in their bellies) is hardened fecal matter that has been in the colon for some time, perhaps years.

The body cannot digest meat (especially cooked meat) no matter what you believe or no matter what you have been told or heard. Cooked or process meat lacks enzymes unlike plants and fruits that are loaded with enzymes (life force) and which unlike meat, dairy products, and refined grains and starches - promote peristalsis (bowel movement).

When we consume meat, dairy products, refined grains/starches, and processed foods - the aftermath of these things sit in our colons and rot and putrefy. They certainly do! They create a stench out of this world in our poor bodies. The stench will sometimes seep through the pores of the skin (which is why some people simply smell bad regardless of what they do, e.g. bathe, shower, wear perfume/cologne etc.).

In females, the stench can even seep through from the vagina. This is why there are women who have a smelly vagina. It's the result of poor diet in most cases, but can also result from poor hygiene as well. But in most cases, poor diet is the cause.

When our colons are full of rotted and decayed animal flesh, old and putrid dairy products, refined grains, etc., when we pass gas (flatulence), it's the equivalent of letting a fan blow over a garbage can (full of filth) or a sewer. It stinks something terrible! The same thing can be said of bad breath or halitosis.

Bad breath (halitosis) generally is the result of a toxic, compacted, and polluted colon, which in turn results from an insalubrious diet - one full of excess, processed animal fats and protein (meat and dairy) and other processed and cooked food stuffs.

Diet, a bad or poor one, can really sabotage health, especially colon health. One of the most harmful things a person can do is unwisely eat three square meals per day, especially if those three square meals contain or include meat and dairy products. Eating three square meals can send you to an early grave nowadays considering what food manufacturers are using and putting in food and beverages (i.e. things that don't belong in food and beverages).

Eating three square meals daily greatly constipates the colon. Did you know that if you eat three meals per day you should be having three bowel movements per day? You should have a bowel movement for every meal you eat and if you don't, something is wrong. Now consider this: if you eat three meals per day, you should be having 21 bowel movements per week, 84 bowel movements per month, and 1,008 bowel movements per year. Unfortunately, the average person who eats three meals per day is only having 3 bowel movements per week instead of 21 bowel movements per week; 12 bowel movements per month instead of 84 bowel movements per month; and only 144 bowel movements per year instead of 1,008 bowel movements per year. Clearly, most 3-sqaure meal-eating people are some 900 times backed up (constipated)! This is serious! And God forbid you listen to medical doctors who will tell you that pooping just once or twice a week (or even 2 weeks) is normal and healthy. NOT!

Food-stuffs like hamburgers and fries, pasta, eggs, pancakes, steak, hot dogs, pastries, cereals, pizza, spaghetti, noodles, rice, bread/bagels/croissants; chicken, fish, seafood, lamb, pastrami, pork chops, pork sausage, cake, cookies, ice cream, butter, sour cream, yogurt, cooked beans, tofu (soy), etc. all constipate the colon. These are enzyme-lacking things (so-called foods) and thus do not have any life force in them. It is enzymes that are key to life and it is only fruits, vegetables, seeds, and nuts that contain enzymes. Grains (sprouted grains) also contain enzymes.

The colon connects with every other organ and gland (including certain teeth) by way of connecting nerves. This is why a compacted, polluted, and toxic colon may be the cause of a host of degenerative diseases. This is a big reason why so many natural health experts, naturopaths, herbalists, and iridologists tell you to start with your colon in the healing and cleansing process.

The colon is the most important of your eliminative channels which include the liver, kidneys, lungs, and skin (and the vagina, for females, a sixth eliminative channel).

But the colon is your true heart of your body.

Okay, with the above out of the way, let's deal with the colon as a body organ.

Colon. [Greek, 'kolon'] The portion of the large intestine extending from the cecum to the rectum. It has four segments: ascending colon, transverse colon, descending colon, and sigmoid colon. - Mosby's Medical Dictionary, 3rd edition, p. 279

The human colon is nearly 30 feet long (27 feet to be exact). With a colon this long, clearly humans are not meant to consume animal flesh. It takes about four days for the human body to digest (to the best of its ability) animal flesh or meat compared to only a few hours to digest (and eliminate) fruits and plants.

Animals in the wild (true meat-eaters or carnivores) have colons about 7 feet long. This means meat or flesh moves through their systems faster. Design does determine function.

When we don't take care of our colon, a host of colon-specific pathologies may result, i.e., colon or colorectal cancer, colitis, ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome, diverticulitis, colon stasis (constipation), colic, inflammatory bowel disease, and coloptosis to name a few, but also certain medical procedures may also need to be performed (if you are into allopathic medicine), procedures such as colonoscopy, colosigmoidoscopy, colostomy, and colonic fistula.

Colorectal Cancer. A malignant neoplastic disease of the large intestine, characterized by melena, a change in bowel habits, and the passing of blood. Malignant tumors of the large bowel usually occur after age 50, are slightly more frequent in women than in men, and are almost as common lung cancer in the United States. The high incidence of colorectal cancer in the western world, as contrasted with the low incidence in Japan and in rural Africa, suggests that a diet high in refined carbohydrates and beef and low in roughage may be a causative factor. The risk of large bowel cancer is increased in chronic ulcerative colitis, in diverticulosis, in villous adenomas, and especially in familial polyposos of the colon. Most lesions of the large bowel are adenocarcinomas; one half arise in the rectum, one fifth in the sigmoid colon, approximately one sixth in the cecum and ascending colon, and the rest in other sites. Rectal tumors may cause pain, bleeding, and a feeling of incomplete evacuation; they metastasize slowly through lymphatic channels and veins, and occasionally prolapse through the anus. Mosbys supra, p. 279

One of the biggest causative factors of colorectal cancer is meat consumption, especially red meat. Colorectal cancer is one of the most commonly diagnosed cancers in the U.S. According to the C.D.C. (Center For Disease Control) in 2006, 70,270 men and 68,857 women were diagnosed with colorectal cancer. This same year, 26,801 men and 26,395 women died from colorectal cancer.

Like all other cancers, colorectal cancer is 100% healable (if you have the right or correct knowledge and apply it, pertaining to reversal and remedies, that is). Cancer does not have to be an automatic death sentence. Cancer is just a sensor that something on a much deeper level is wrong or defective with yourself. You can beat cancer if you learn the message of what cancer simply is offering or telling you.

An inflammatory condition of the large intestine, either one of the episodic, functional, irritable bowel syndromes or one of the more serious chronic, progressive, inflammatory bowel diseases. Irritable bowel syndrome is characterized by bouts of colicky pain and diarrhea or constipation, often resulting from emotional stress. Because individuals with colitis may be irritated by different substances, the diet is individualized to avoid known irritants. Kinds of irritable bowel syndrome are splastic colon and mucous colitis. Inflammatory bowel disease is characterized by abscess formation, severe diarrhea, bleeding, and ulceration of the mucosa of the intestine. Weight loss and pain are significant. Kinds of inflammatory bowel disease include Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Mosby's supra, p. 277

Anytime you have the prefix "itis" you are dealing with inflammation and when there is inflammation, there is unhealthy mucus, and when there is unhealthy mucus, there is acidosis or excess acid and excess acid is the result of consuming acidic products, i.e. animals fats and proteins (meat and dairy products) but also refined carbohydrates: starches, grains.

The frequent passage of loose, watery stools, generally as the result of increased motility in the colon. The stool may also contain mucus, pus, blood, or excessive amounts of fat. Diarrhea is usually a symptom of some underlying disorder. Conditions in which diarrhea is an important symptom are dysenteric diseases, malabsorption syndrome, lactose intolerance, irritable bowel syndrome, GI tumors, and inflammatory bowel disease. In addition to stool frequency, patients may complain of abdominal cramps and generalized weakness. Untreated, diarrhea may lead to rapid dehydration and electrolyte imbalance and should be treated asymptomatically until proper diagnosis can be made. - Mosby's supra, p. 367

There are many causative factors for diarrhea. "Among the many possible causes of diarrhea are incomplete digestion of food, food poisoning, stress, bacterial, viral, or other infection; consumption of contaminated water; pancreatic disease; cancer; the use of certain drugs; caffeine; intestinal parasites; inflammatory bowel disease such as ulcerative colitis or Chron's disease; and the consumption of certain foods or chemicals, such as beans, caffeine, unripe fruits, spoiled or rancid foods, and foods the body cannot tolerate. Food allergies are often the cause of diarrhea. Emotional stress also can cause diarrhea. Acute diarrhea accompanied by fever and mucus or blood in the stool can be a sign of infection or the presence of parasites" Phyllis A. Balch, C.N.C.

When diarrhea is present, the body (intestinal tract) is quickly attempting to evacuate something. Diarrhea steals water (fluid) from the tissues of the body and thus sodium content in the body is lost. It is very important that when diarrhea is present that you replace sodium and electrolytes. Sea salt is a great source of natural sodium as well as celery (celery juice). You can find an electrolyte solution (e.g. Trace Minerals Electrolytes) on the shelves of good health food stores.

Sharp visceral pain resulting from torsion, obstruction, or smooth muscle spasm of a hollow or tubular organ, such as a ureter or the intestines. Mosby's supra, p. 277

For many infants, grains are a great cause of colic. Infants should not be fed grains for the first two years of life. Their little digestive systems cannot handle grains. The same applies to honey. Honey should not be given for the first two years of life.

Ulcerative colitis

A chronic, episodic, inflammatory disease of the large intestine and rectum, characterized by profuse watery diarrhea containing varying amounts of blood, mucus, and pus. Also known as Crohn's disease and Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Mosby's supra, p. 1208

Inflammation of one or more diverticula. The penetration of fecal matter through the thin-walled diverticula causes inflammation and abscess formation in the tissues surrounding the colon. With repeated inflammation, the lumen of the colon narrows and may become obstructed. During periods of inflammation, the patient will experience crampy pain, particularly over the sigmoid colon, fever, and leukocytosis. Mosby's supra, p. 382

NOTE: Diverticulum. A pouchlike herniation through the muscular wall of a tubular organ. A diverticulum may be present in the stomach, in the small intestine, or, most commonly, the colon. Mosby's supra, p. 383

The presence of pouchlike herniations through the muscular layer of the colon, particularly the sigmoid colon. Diverticulosis affects increasing numbers of people over 50 years of age and may be the result of the modern, highly refined, low-residue diet. Most patients with this condition have few symptoms except for occasional bleeding from the rectum. An increase in the dietary fiber can aid in propelling the feces through the colon. Hemorrhage from bleeding diverticula can become quite severe. Diverticulosis may lead to diverticulitis. Mosby's supra, p. 382

A variscosity in the lower rectum or anus caused by congestion in the veins of the hemorrhoidal plexus. Mosby's supra, p. 559

Hemorrhoids result when there is excessive straining during bowel movement in order to propel the feces from the rectum through the anus. This is clearly the result of a high meat, dairy, and other processed foods diet greatly low or lacking in roughage or dietary fiber. This is why consuming enzymatic foods are a must because enzymes help to stimulate peristalsis. Enzymatic foods are living foods and include fruits, vegetables, seeds, and nuts (and some grains). Raw foods (fruits, nuts/seeds, and veggies) are loaded with enzymes!

If you are straining while on the toilet, you're constipated. If you are bleeding from the rectum, chances are you have ulcerative colitis or diverticulosis, and in the worse case scenario, perhaps colorectal cancer.

An inflammation of both the colon and rectum. Also called colorectitis. Mosby's supra, p. 279

This disease clearly suggests that both colon and rectum are inundated with mucus, usually resulting from an acid-forming diet.

The prolapse or downward displacement of the colon. Mosby's supra, p. 279

Prolapse of the colon (coloptosis) is very common nowadays considering how impacted folks are, especially obese people, and how gravity is still on the scene pulling on our organs, and the colon is no exception here. It too falls prey to the pull of gravity.

Intestinal Parasites and Worms

Parasite and worm infestation could also be the cause of colon diseases and disorders, especially if you consume large concentrations of meat (animal flesh). Known worms of the intestines include intestinal pinworms and tape worms.

"Tapeworm infection of the intestine occurs when people eat raw, contaminated pork, beef, or freshwater fish. Most people with tapeworms have no symptoms, but some report abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, and loss of appetite. Anemia may develop in people with the fish tapeworm. People acquire tapeworms by eating undercooked meat or freshwater fish that contain tapeworm cysts. Tapeworms in the intestine usually cause no symptoms but may cause abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, and loss of appetite. Depending on where they are, larval cysts cause various symptoms, such as headaches, seizures, and confusion. Doctors diagnose the infection by finding worm segments or eggs in a stool sample or, for cysts elsewhere in the body, by doing imaging or blood tests. Thoroughly cooking meat and freshwater fish can help prevent the infection.

Several species of tapeworms, such as Taenia saginata (beef tapeworm), Taenia solium (pork tapeworm), and Diphyllobothrium latum (fish tapeworm), can cause infection in people.

The pork and beef tapeworms are large, flat worms that live in the intestine and can grow 15 to 30 feet in length. Egg-bearing sections of the worm (proglottids) are passed in the stool. If untreated human waste is released into the environment, the eggs may be ingested by intermediate hosts, such as pigs, cattle, or (in the case of fish tapeworms) small crustaceans, which are in turn ingested by fish. The eggs hatch into larvae in the intermediate host. The larvae invade the intestinal wall and are carried through the bloodstream to skeletal muscle and other tissues, where they form cysts. People acquire the parasite by eating the cysts in raw or undercooked meat or certain types of freshwater fish. The cysts hatch and develop into adult worms, which latch onto the intestinal wall. The worms then grow in length and begin producing eggs." Merck (Merck Manual On-Line Medical Library)

Parasite and worm infestation is no joke. These little creepy critters can really sabotage your health. It is imperative that people, especially those who consume meat, perform at least one major parasite and worm cleanse (e.g. Parasite and Worm Cleanse) a year.

For more insightful information on colon problems and remedies (in addition to the information infra), please visit the articles section and read our articles on "Constipation", "Irritable Bowel Syndrome", "Anal and Rectal Problems", "Colonics", "Diarrhea", 'Crohn's Disease", and "Enemas."

Continuing, one of the detriments of a compacted and toxic colon full of hardened fecal matter is that the villi is obstructed. These little shaggy hairs that stick out from the surface of the small intestine absorb nutrients (i.e. vitamins and minerals) from the foods we consume (if we are in fact consuming real food which would naturally contain nutrients such as vitamins and minerals). When the colon is impacted, the villi is obstructed from its designed function. Think about it, even if we are eating something that does contain nutrition (as an exception to what we commonly eat), if the colon walls are impacted with hardened fecal matter, no nutrition will be absorbed via the villi.

When we think about the colon, we also have to think about the villi.

Villus [singular of Villi, plural form] One of the many tiny projections, barely visible to the naked eye, clustered over the entire mucous surface of the small intestine. The vill diffuse and transport fluids and nutrients. They are quite irregular in size and are larger in some parts of the intestine than in others, flattening out when the intestine distends. Each villus has a core of delicate areolar and recticular connective tissue supporting the epithelium, various capillaries, and usually a single lymphatic lacteal that fills with milky white chyle during the digestion of a fatty meal. Mosby's supra, p. 1235

Also, we must also think about the state of our good bacteria that resides in our colon. A toxic and impacted colon is probably going to have an imbalance of good and bad bacteria thus leading to yeast infection. A healthy colon is going to have a balanced ratio of good bacteria (probiotics) and bad bacteria, or healthy bacteria and unhealthy bacteria.

You shouldn't just be concerned with probiotics (acidophilus) after having a colonic performed, but all the time. Intestinal ecology is very important! Yeast infections are not just limited to the vagina of females, but also the blood and the intestines. So colon or intestinal health also takes into consideration the ratio of good and bad bacteria.

The Metaphysics of Colon/Intestinal Problems

Like with all other organs of the body as well as disease, there's a metaphysical aspect or component pertaining to the colon and colon diseases and disorders.

Colon diseases and disorders first ask the question:

"What is it that I cannot digest or find it difficult or challenging to digest?"

"Why do I feel like sh*t?"

"Why do I have so much sh*t going on in my life?"

"Why I am I straining to get things done?"

You should also ask yourself what person are you presently dealing with that you deem to be "full of it?"

According to metaphysician Lise Bourbeau, "Disorders of the small intestine are linked with an inability to retain and absorb that which is beneficial and contributes to your homeostasis. You tend to get hung up on details and can't see the forest for the trees. If a particular issue irks you, you will reject the entire situation. You have a fear of missing something that may be essential."

"Disorders of the large intestine are linked with your inability to let go of old ideas or belief systems that are no longer of use (constipation). In the case of diarrhea, you reject ideas too quickly. You are often perturbed and find it impossible to digest disagreeable concepts. You don't take the time to be objective or look for the upside of a person or situation that has reawakened your fear of loss before placing judgment."

As far as a mental block (pertaining to intestinal disorders), Lise states the following:

"Your body is telling you to re-educate yourself about feeding or nourishing yourself. There is no spiritual nutrition in fear and self-depreciating thoughts. You don't have to fear a lack of money or anything else. Have faith in your material abundance and the divine presence within you. The Universal Divinity housed within you watches over you as it watches over all living things. Let go of your old belief system - it no longer nourishes you - and let in the new."

Pertaining to intestinal parasites (emotional and mental blocks), Lise states:

"Just as a parasite lives off a body without contributing positively to it, so is parasite a term often used to define someone who is dependent on others to meet their own needs, without providing adequate return. If your physical body is suffering with parasites, it is likely that, on a psychological level, you allow other people to infest you with their thoughts and demands. It is common for children to suffer from parasites because they are easy targets for invasion by the adult world. Children tend to feel obliged to avoid being themselves in exchange for doing whatever is necessary to be loved by adults. If you have parasites because you traveled to a foreign country, this indicates that you attached too much importance to minor details, thereby allowing them (the details) to take over and overwhelm you."

"With a parasitic invasion, your body is telling you that no one has the power to infest you unless you allow it to happen. To be liked, you have no need to BE someone other than yourself; you are complete and lovable just as you are. Others will respect you when you respect yourself. Just as you are particular about whom you let into your home, be selective about the thoughts and beliefs you let in."

Natural Remedies For Intestinal Diseases and Disorders

The best area to start in as far as healing from intestinal diseases and disorders is that of diet! By all means modify your diet. Cut out or greatly cut back on consumption of animal derived products (such as meat and dairy products).

Eat plenty of raw foods [fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts] as they are enzymatic and fiber-rich, which greatly helps with peristalsis (bowel movement).

Eat a big green leafy salad every day or at least 3-4 days per week. This is a great roughage provider. Salad (as other greens and veggies) will sweep the walls of the colon helping to maintain the health and wellbeing of the intestinal tract.

Prunes and figs are great foods and aids for maintaining the health of the colon and ensuring consistent bowel movement. These are highly recommended, perhaps as snack foods.

Prune juice and/or plum juice are considered liquid plumbers. These will get a clogged colon moving again in a short period of time. They are best drank at night before bedtime. A cup or half a cup nightly should suffice.

Eliminate refined and processed foods from your diet as much as possible. They are dead and they weaken the colon, making it very lethargic. Refrain from eating a lot of cooked foods. The best-cooked and processed foods to consume (if you feel you must consume them) are vegan in nature. Go Vegan! You'll feel better and live longer!

Drink fresh fruit and vegetable juice daily (about 4-8 ounces). Invest in a good juicer (i.e. Jack Lalane's brand, c. $150 in price). Juicing is a lifesaver these days!

The best water to drink while performing any cleanse (including a colon cleanse) is hands down alkaline water. If you can't find alkaline water, your next best choices are distilled water and/or spring water. Drink 6-10 glasses of water daily. Water helps keep the body in general and the colon in particular, lubricated.

Aloe vera juice is a great beverage to assist with maintenance of the intestinal tract. It is especially helpful when there are ulcers present, including ulcerative colitis. It is also helpful for coloproctitis. Aloe vera juice is an intestinal tonic.

There are a plethora of beneficial therapeutic herbs that help cleanse, repair, tone, fortify, and strengthen the intestinal tract.

Laxative (as well as aperient and cathartic) herbs are very important as they help stimulate peristalsis and evacuate the bowels.

Good laxative herbs include Senna Leaf (and Pods), Cascara Sagrada, Buckthorn, Glucomannan, Bilwa, Bibitaki, Rhubarb, Aloe Vera (resin), Jalap Root, Musta, and Mandrake. These herbs are great for the most severe and stubborn colon problems, especially constipation. uses most of these herbs in its awesome Colon Formula and unlike pharmaceutical-grade laxatives, our Colon Formula as well as the individual herbs supra are NOT addictive and thus not harmful.

Good colon conditioning herbs include Black Walnut Hull, Chamomile, Goldenseal Root, and Licorice root. These herbs help cleanse and tone the colon. also uses many of these herbs in its Colon Formula.

Good mucous-membrane soothing (mucilaginous) herbs include Slippery Elm Bark, Irish Moss, Agar Agar, Acacia Gum, and Marshmallow. These herbs help soothe an inflamed and irritated colon. Great for cases of colic and colitis! Again, uses these herbs in its awesome Colon Formula.

Good carminative and antispasmodic herbs include Fennel Seed, Anise Seed, Cardamom Seed, Caraway Seed, Cinnamon bark, and Ginger Root. These herbs help calm an upset stomach and counteract indigestion as well as flatulence (gas). uses most of these herbs in its Digest-Aid Formula.

Good fiberous herbs include Pamita, Psyllium Husk, Fennel Seed, Apple Pectin, and vegetable cellulose (technically not an herb). These herbs provide dietary fiber that sweep the walls of the colon and aid in the formation of bulky stools. uses most of these herbs in its Intestinal Janitor Formula (fiber formula).

To help rid the body of parasites and worms, consume anthelmintic and vermifuge herbs such as Peachtree Bark, Wormwood, Tansy, Betel Nut, Southernwood, Epazote, Pumpkin Seed, Worm Seed, Black Seed, Male Fern and Pink Root. produces the best anti-parasite and worms product and regimen on the market: Parasite and Worms Extract, Parasite and Worms (Anthelmintic) Tea, Parasite Formula, and Parasites and Worms Cleanse.

Senna is a great herb that not only help evacuate the bowels of hardened and stubborn fecal matter but also helps to kill intestinal worms and parasites in the intestines.

To further help get rid of parasites and worms in the intestinal tract, drink pomegranate juice (4 ounces daily for a specific duration or period of time).

In addition to pomegranate juice, consume one tablespoon of olive oil and/or castor oil daily (for a certain period of time) as these oils not only lubricate the colon, but also smother and kill worms and parasites in the colon, especially pinworms. products and compounds that benefit the colon and help maintain optimal colon health and wellbeing include: Colon Formula, (mild action on the colon), Bowel Mover (strong action on the colon), Sen-Fen (carthartic or powerfully strong action on the colon), Intestinal Janitor (fiber-providing), Probiotic Formula(acidophilus), Emerald Greens Cell Food Formula (colon conditioning, nutritive), Herbal Iodine (fiber-providing), Full Body Detox and Supreme Colon Cleanse.

Please note that nearly all of our major cleanses, i.e. Full Body detox, Full Body Detox Love Repair, Weight Release Cleanse, Supreme Blood Cleanse, etc. all contain a colon formula.

Weekly enemas are very helpful for keeping the rectum clean, healthy, and evacuated. These are highly recommended by us at Enemas can be performed in the comfort of your own home (bathroom). Enemas are best performed in the morning or in the evening time. Mornings are more ideal in my personal opinion. You can add liquid chlorophyll to your enema water (1-2 ounces), 35% food-grade hydrogen peroxide (half an ounce), and/or liquid bentonite clay (1 ounce). For more information on enemas, please read our article "Enemas" in the "articles" section.

Colonics are even better than enemas. Colonics allow the entire colon to be flushed of toxins, pollutants, old fecal debris, parasites and worms, etc. Colonics can be performed weekly or monthly or perhaps every 3 months. To learn more about colonics, please read our article “Colonics.”

Carnelian water is a concoction of crystal energy (vibration) and water, basically an elixir. There is no better stone (crystal) to aid in stomach and intestinal complaints than carnelian. This stone can provide fast-acting results when placed directly on the tummy. This is a most ideal stone for females and can be used for stomach complaints as well as female complaints, e.g. abdominal cramping and/or spasms (perhaps during that time of the month). The bigger the piece of Carnelian, the better!

Daily anti-gravity exercise, in addition to colonics and enemas, is a great natural remedy for coloptosis.

Other great exercises that can help to keep your colon optimally healthy and functioning include yoga, Tai chi, and deep breathing to name a few.

Rubbing the belly with warm natural oil (coconut, olive, caster) in a circular motion will help to stimulate the colon and thus bowel movement. This is great to do before performing an enema. Oil in a glass container can be warmed up with hot water (in a sink). Run hot water from the faucet on the bottle for a few minutes and/or let the bottle sit or float in a sink full of hot water for a few minutes (10-15 minutes).

If you follow the foregoing information, you won't need to take harmful and addictive man-made pharmaceutical drugs such as Ex-lax, Dulc-lax, Kaopectate, Milk of Magnesia, and Pepto-Bismol which all pollute and toxify the liver and blood; nor will you have to undergo or receive a colonoscopy, colostomy, and/or colonic fistula.

By all means, you'd be wise to avoid bulk-forming laxatives, lubricants, stool softeners, saline laxatives, stimulant laxatives and combination medicines. They do harm in the human body and they never knock out the root cause of the problem. Drugs only masquerade!

There's so much more I could say or add to this article but I'm approaching 16 pages and these days our goal is to keep articles 10 pages or less and I've already gone over by five pages already. Therefore, I shall end this article here. Remember, check the website's article section or category for more insightful information on this subject matter.

There are two main colon-cleansing methods. One involves buying products; the other involves seeing a practitioner to have colon irrigation.

Colon cleansing with powdered or liquid supplements. You take some supplements used for colon cleansing by mouth. Others you take through the rectum. Either way, the idea is to help the colon to expel its contents. You can find these products on the Internet or in health food stores, supermarkets, or pharmacies. They include:

·         Enemas

·         Laxatives-both stimulant and non stimulant types

·         Herbal teas

·         Enzymes

·         Magnesium

Side effect :

  • Increase your risk of dehydration
  • Lead to bowel perforations
  • Increase the risk of infection
  • Cause changes in your electrolytes, which can be dangerous if you have kidney disease or other health problems

If you choose to try colon cleansing, take these precautions:

  • Check with your conventional medical providers first, especially if you take any medications or have any health problems.
  • Make sure your colon-cleansing practitioner uses disposable equipment that hasn't been previously used.
  • Get a list of specific herbal ingredients and amounts in any colon-cleansing products you use — some herbal supplements can cause health problems.
  • Stay well hydrated by drinking lots of fluids while undergoing colon cleansing to prevent dehydration.
