I don't believe that. I think she was dtf and thought he really liked her. I think she liked him and thought she had a chance. I believe that he could have picked her up, fcked her and had a driver take her back to the airport the same night....skype conversations would have continued. I say that because she didn't write the article and she was crying and sh*t. Doesn't seem like your average groupie. She could have just fcked somebody else for the night and got a free ride and dinner.

This. Flying anywhere (even if it's just one state away) to meet up with a high profile athlete who you only interacted with online smacks of "I'm about to get the hook up". But she played herself. Because if she was really about the money, she would have set the stage by making him pay for her flight. Paying for your own travel = I'm desperate. If she was really talking to CP and convinced him to use his money for her to come, he would have been there or sent a driver to get her at the airport.

I don't think anyone on this board is that stupid but she was.. I've got money when i go, but if a man wants to spend time with me i'm not buying the ticket.. i'll buy any ticket if it's something i want to do with my friends sure.. but if he wants to be with me he's paying.. I'll always have what i need to make a mad dash if i needed too. but i don't go unknowledgeable about who i'm going to see that's first.. second I know who they are, and what they are able to do and they will pay for all my expenses.. but If i didn't know someone at all, oh hell to naw.. if he wanted to meet me he'd have to bring his ass up on my territory to meet me..

The whole article is one sided and in a bad way. The part about her
texting him and him not really replying - yet she still got on the plane
is ignorant as eff. If I text you the night before and you tell me "oh I
have practice", the next text (or call) would be "Ok so when will you
be at the airport to pick me up?" And if you give me crickets as a response, I would think VERY HARD before I go through with the flight.
According to the article, she
still blindly hopped on the plane without confirming those essential
details. That's stupid. You can always reuse a ticket, even if you miss
your flight. This wasn't a well thought out plan.
