Ok, so I think that a closure set only just behind the hair line works for me.  To do this I use liquid gold as it is actually meant to be stuck to hair not scalp, which techinically behind your hair line is as it catches on your hair.

Problem is that it builds up and gets gummy after a while.  To those who glue behind the hair line is there a better glue to use that does not build up and go white, and also could any of the lace glues work without  damaging your hair.

All contributions, as always,  greatly received

I wouldnt use lace wig glue due the fact, the glue is supposed to be applied to the skin and not the hair itself ... I dont use glue so I can't reccommend an alternative one to LG

I had to come back and say ...YAKI please step away from the Any type of adhesives on ur scalp or hair....forhead maybe but even that can be damaging if not done correctly ......Black glue claims to be safe to use on hair/scalp as well ...and look at how many women have suffer severe un repairable damage from it ......
