Is this clear fabric thread or thread specifically for sewing in hair weaves?

I use a fishing line / beading thread called Fireline.   I buy it in the 'smoke'color.  You can get it in a few different thickness / diameter.  I love using this stuff because it is super strong and you can tie a knot in it very easily.  I find it's perfect to use when you are doing a lock stitch to sew your weft onto braid.
