CIA Director David Petraeus Resigns, Cites Affair

 

 

If he doesn't know not to run his mouth and leaks pillow confessions and she turns out to be a spy, sure. But was this the case? Which by the way, he shouldn't be doing even with his wife. But this whole business about morality is laughable considering the job he holds. There's nothing moral about being the head of the CIA. Some might see it's necessary, as all countries need to protect their interests on the world stage, but less face it, these dudes are involved in some grimy shyt, justified or not.

This whole hypocritical morality stance is very american. In plenty of european countries, an insipid story about a premarital affair would induce nothing more than a shrug.
