FBI agents at Charlotte home of woman who had affair with Petraeus

CHARLOTTE – The FBI confirms their agents were at the
Charlotte home of Paula Broadwell, the woman at the center of an affair
that led to the resignation last week of former CIA Director Gen. David
Petraeus, on Monday night.
There's been no sign of anyone around
the house since news broke of Broadwells involvement Friday. Local,
national and international media outlets have been camped outside her
Dilworth home for the past four days.
There are plenty of
neighbors out and about, however, and they say while they feel for the
family, the quicker this media circus wraps up the better.
"I'm sorry everyone's caught in the middle of it and hopefully the news will settle down," said neighbor Sarah Crume.

Williams says he's exchanged emails
with Broadwell, adding the family is together but not revealing where or
when they might come back. Williams says, regardless, the Dilworth
community is here for support.
"The Paula we know is someone we value and we welcome them back warmly and help them get on with their lives," Williams said.
