I went out to eat with a couple of coworkers, All male, one was black and 2 were essentially white. The black guy is the one who gave me a ride and didn't mention race not once the whole ride. But as soon as we sit down in the restaurant he would not stop bringing it up. I don't understand why. I can't piece together what he tries to accomplish. Maybe you all can help me understand. Half of the stuff he said was "pro black" and the other half was INCREDIBLY coonish. But, no matter what we were talking about, he always brought it back to race.

Seems like he was uncomfortable amongst the whities and didn't have a better way of expressing it.

In other news...I did a boiling method on a wig I made and it turned into an afro. I was trying to get loose barrel curls and failed so hard. I had envisoned myself looking soooooo bomb with my curl but ended up bun and swoop bangs...
should have known the day would go downhill from there.
