Yeah that's a huge debate...texas chili doesn't have beans or something like that. But to me it's not chili without beans.

My quick chili is a can of manwich sloppy joe sauce, a can of tomato sauce, ground meat, and a can of kidney beans. Maybe some red bell peppers and onions if I'm not too lazy to cut it up.

I also really like the chocolate chili from The Clothes Make the Girl...but I don't like to cook.

I heard that on the food network. I guess it was originally made that way but at this point with beans became standard.

and I usually eat it with rice unless its out a can or like wendys.

I don't think I could eat chili without beans.
Basically you're eating a bowl of meat, yuck.

I've heard that before but I love kidney beans in mine.

On Top Chef, they ridiculed chili with beans.

that's the only kind I would eat back when I ate that. I was known in college at "The Rat" (a spot near campus famous for chili  ) for ordering for my chili w/out the beans. No one understood.

if it was sheldon, it's because he's from texas and typically-- no. texas chili doesn't have beans. LOL

in my family/home we differentiate by saying-- "chili (just meat)" "chili beans (meat and pinto beans)" or "beans (just pinto, no meat)"

however, all are to be served with honey cornbread or why bother? LOL
