my mom got me one when I was two after I wondered away from her and my grandma at the mall. They found me outside of L.S. Ayres. And the one I had went on my wrist.

ETA: I'm really lucky to even be here but back then I guess nobody wanted a little black kid. Ouch

I ran off one time in the store. I was playing hide and seek I guess..

My mom was looking for me and heard me giggling. She beat my ass when she found me and told me to stay next to her at all times.

I was always right by her legs after that...lol sometimes that's all u need

I see many pros to using them.  The cons just seem like personal hang-ups.

I was in a retail store in an all Black area, not too long ago, when a (Black) couple walked in with their kid on his leash

All the Black customers were CTFU LOL
