I like the ones that look like backpacks.  I dont think its a bad thing when used properly. Especially in high crowded areas. Trying to hold a hand of someone so small, pushing them or carrying them sucks.

it doesn't make sense to me if you're in a crowded place b/c i've walked a dog on a leash in a crowded place and it was annoying af.  it would seem much easier to have your baby in one of the carriers attached to your body if you're not able to hold their hand.  if they're so little and slow that they need a leash to keep up then it won't help their little legs keep up with you unless you draggin the lil bastid.

I see 1 to 3 year olds in these

are you saying a 1 to 3 year old should be strapped to their parent's body?

if they can't walk without a leash then yes.  99% of 1-3 yr olds i see aren't on leashes and they're doing fine.

i remember thinking this would be convenient when kids start walking and want to walk by themselves but they just aren't very good at it yet but they insist on trying to walk.
