Castor oil is great for anti frizz... Only it completely weighs mine down and makes it look wet... I think a trick would be to spread it on the hands and put it on very  lightly. in sections. But plain castor oil works better than most of the commercial anti frizz serums. hth

PS my hair handles coconut oil better and it also has curl smoothing properties but not so much anti friz properties. If you melt the coconut oil in the microwave, you can add just a little to your castor oil to lighten it...if you find castor oil is too heavy for your hair.... Your hair is thicker than mine so you might be able to use the castor oil straight.... (try it on wet hair)

Sadly, I don't have a regi. I'm trying to develop one now.. Any tips?

The only thing I do is cowash my hair when I feel like it (once a week maybe) and put it in celie braids.. and I wear a satin bonnet under a beanie hat. Or sometimes I wear a half wig when I want to look "pretty" LOL

I think castor oil sounds perfect from the way you describe. I need something heavy to weigh it down. Because light oils like Jojoba and coconut does nothing. My hair laughs.. Thanks for the suggestion Wink
