CHAKA KHAN’S SON ARRESTED FOR MURDER: 25-year-old allegedly killed a man in gun struggle.
*Damien Holland, the 25-year-old son of Chaka Khan, was taken into custody Friday night in Los Angeles for allegedly killing a man at his apartment complex. Holland has claimed the shooting was an accident, according to police sources.
Police say Holland and the 18-year-old male victim had gotten into an argument, then struggled over a high powered rifle when it went off. The weapon was apparently found on the rooftop of a nearby building, according to a neighbor. A magazine clip full of bullets was also recovered just below on the sidewalk.
Bail for Holland has been set at just over $1 million. Holland’s father and Chaka Khan have been divorced for years, according to “CJ.”
