So I was reading over a venders site and I read the FAQ's. When it comes to virgin hair I don't care what kind you see in the picture automatically some people think they will get what is shown (custom orders anyway) and then if it is not like the pic I would expect anyone to be mad. But you have to remember to READ the FAQ. I pulled this from a venders site just so you all can see what I am talking about and for newbies who need to know. And if you know what site this come from that shows that you actually read the info they provide. (Unless you never seen the site)

Quote: Will the hair I receive look exactly like your pictures?
Almost but not exactly. Virgin hair is by its nature unique. Our pictures are meant to give you a good idea of our textures. Should you choose to place an order with us you will notice that there will be some variation between our pictures and that of the hair you receive. This is not avoidable nor should it be. That is part of the fun of buying and luxury of wearing premium quality virgin hair. It is as unique as you are!

True statement. BUT if you order a straight virgin unit it should be straight and a curly should be curly, etc.

^^^True. I have ordered from different AV's and most of my custom units have been a different from the picture that they presented on their web site. Its going to happen at times whether its straight, wavy, or curly depending on the vendor I guess.

But depending on how bad I really want a specific curl, I just order a virgin unprocessed unit, and perm/color it myself. I don't mind going through the extra work, as long as I am getting what I want.

I've been thinking about getting a virgin unit and never considered it.  This newbie says "Thanks".

that is true. I remember my first IVR came looking like a #2 color, which when I think about it was a stock and color say "natural color" and I assumed 1b since most indian hair is, boy was I surprised, so off I go to Sally to buy and  dye that baby down to a 1b.

This is true, authentic Virgin Hair can and will vary donor to donor. As far as photos of a custom unit, it is not realistic to think there will not be variances between the photo listed and the custom unit received...I would actually be more nervous and suspicious if I was buying Virgin Remy Hair on a custom unit and it looked exactly the same as the Photo.
