Yes that is what he said... he said that MT got a call from the girl whos voice and number he recongized as lennay  and she told him that she wasnt really dead.  Then MT immediately called his coaches.

They asked. He dodged the question and said Te'o said they "met" online.

Complete contradiction to what Te'o said about them meeting in 2009 after a football game.
