Sort off. People who own a cat or like cats what do you do when you have or find a stray?
I am not 100% sure it's a stray it has a collar of course, but it's not a tag or flea collar. Just a regular collar with design on it. Yes I did feed it twice 1st time I saw it and today. We have a lot of strays both cats and dog where I lived so sometimes I would see it around.
Taking it in I can't since I am still at home, and the other person either hate cats or claim they are allergic which isn't true.LOL I don't want to call a shelter too quick since it may be someone's cat and most euthanize them especially since it's a black cat.  Posters maybe, can I just make then without a picture? How can I tell if it is a stray or someone's cat that they're too lazy to look for or got lost? Now poor kitty is sitting on the front porch, and it always wants me to pet it. There are a lot of cars out, we live on a busy road and some people/dogs who may harm it. I am worry a bit. What else can I do before I get too attach? (Too late)Embarrassed
Is it wrong for me to want to take off it's collar? I did loose it a bit. I just don't want poor cat to get caught on something.
*No cat hate thread* It won't let me space my paragraphs.Confused

Give him a flea bath and if you have money, take him to get fixed and a checkup.

Eta: loosen his collar

Stray cats don't have collars at. all.

Take a pic of the cat and post it around

If he has a collar he belongs to someoneLOL  Love the kitty and take him to the vet he may be microchipped and if so kitty's owner can be located.

One of my neighbors threw her pregnant cat out with collar on. I feed her and the babies. The woman hasn't let that cat in since the summer

You need to stop touching stray cats before you get cat AIDS.

I wish I could take it to the vet. The other person I lived with won't even let me say the word cat.LOL
There's no way I can get it to a vet. I'll just feed a bit for now and maybe make some posters without a picture.
