People who use shreded paper house must smell like piss.  People who use wood chips or pebbles house must smell like piss.  I prefer changing the whole litter box every 30 to 60days and as far as litter I like the no tracking and odor blocker.  Luckily I have cats that prefer to act like dogs and go outsideLOL as much as possible to do their business and come right back inside.

mine were the opposite--for the 2 weeks they were indoor/outdoor. They would go outside to have fun, and come to the door asking to come in--walk straight to the poop box & poop; and turn around and go back outside LOL. I guess they thought they were too good to poop outside , damn cats!

LOL...I get real embarrassed when I take the dogs on a walk and the cats come following right behind meowing and weaving in between the dogs.  I have to turn around because I am afraid if a random dog come at the cats and they take off running they will get lost forever and being judged by the passerbyers with four pets underfoot.

Tidy Cat or Scoop or Fresh Step.  We don't have much of choice on base.

Fresh Step Scoopable Cat Litter. Low dust, absorbs smell and it clumps.

If it's not scoopable, it ain't comin' in this house.Dead

Tidy Cats only.  I can't change the litter brand too often because my cat will sh*t outside of her litter box.

^Tokyo, my friend's boyfriend's cat does this but the cat came from a hoarder like home. He poops outside the box and then he retreats into a corner knowing he effed up. The bf tolerates it very well.LOL
