I used to be anti-cat and my cat was "dropped off and never picked up". That was about 7 years ago
We're pretty cool now!! Named Annie - for little orphan Annie. My cat has her strange behaviors - one which I call "greyhounding". She will just take off running and jump on the dresser and dive onto the bed and run into the living room around the corner, etc. When she hit's that corner she looks like the dogs at the track!!
I actually have an old futon that she uses as her scratching post so I don't have to worry much about her scratching anything else. She loves the feel of jeans, so I have old jeans laying on her futon and on her window perch-she loves looking out the window at the birds.
She loves to attack my feet and attack me when I am coming around the corner! She likes waded up balls of paper more than her cat toys and balls. She has her own recliner, but she still insists on squeezing next to me on mine.
I tried the spray bottle thing, wasn't crazy about it. I will flick my hand towards her like I am flicking water and she takes off running! She actually understands when I yell "no" too. :)
I will say this, when I come home everyday she is there at the door to greet me. She knows the sound of my car alarm! She does follow me around alot and 99% of the time is near wherever I am in the house.
When she was small enough she would get under the dresser, under the entertainment center, inside the little slot for the DVD, it would drive me crazy!!
Annie is a little spoiled brat! I will have to upload some pics! :)
Little crazy in the beginning as you have to yell and spray or whatever it is that you do. You will enjoy!
