The most that she can really "climb" is on her one scratching post that's kind of pedestal shaped come to think of it.  Fortunately, she hasn't tried to climb the drapes, just scratch at them.  I would actually kind of like to see that...with somebody else's cats and in somebody else house.Stern Smile

Don't declaw your kitty!

There's this gel the vet/groomer can put around the nails of your cats so that they can't scratch anything

Works awesomely!

I like to watch things like that sometimes when mine are working my nerves. So I can feel better and say 'well at least they don't do that.' LOL

I just keep mine claws trimmed so that 'when' they do scratch they can't do much harm. But the soft paws/caps are a good idea. I have some but never put them on.
