Few convince me generally but voices like this, shock me as an artist now and then. I wish there was more up of him, but very few are up and are covers. But it was truly refreshing. I mean he sang "Spanish Joint" by Dangelo having people clapping and wooing like mad. That's real soul to me.

Michael Bolton doesn't sing soul but when he mixes his music with that genre, I become more infatuated than usual. That man is on a league of his own!

I really love his music. He's a great soul singer. I agree that one doesnt have to sing soul to be quite a soul inger. I used to love Patsy Cline growing up for that reason.
