Can you relax virgin Indian curly hair to make it more manageable. Can you texturize it? Would it still be curly.
Has anyone done this before ,what was the outcome. What perm to use.

Some have done it I think its best to get a mild relaxer and be very careful because you don't want to ruin the hair. Your curl pattern will not be as tight since the relaxer if for straightening. Now they have a chemical on the shelves of most stores that is use to make curly hair more manageable. it looks like the target consumer is children, that may be safe to experiment with rather than an outright relaxer. Let me know how it goes because I am thinking of running a relaxer through my closure.  the texture is a little kinky.  Its no biggie because I make it work with a little more elbow grease when Im flat ironing it but it would be nice if I didnt have to put much effort into it.

You can relax virgin hair to loosen the curl pattern.  Marie67 has mentioned this in other threads.  You can put some mild relaxer on the hair and adjust your comb-thru process to release as much of the curl as you like.  IMO I would do a aphogee treatment on the hair prior to the relaxer to protect as much as possible from damage.  It would probably help if you are experienced with relaxing hair in general.

Yep, it has been done.  I think MsRed did this to a closure.  Also, you can probably go to the BHM archives to find older posts.  I remember seeing a thread where the lady "T" pinned the hair and rollerset/permed it. Senior/VIP BHM members help me out. Was it MsCuddles??  I can't remember.
