Without it looking weavy? I looked on youtube for updos and high poinytails and they look really bad.  What if I keep some of my hair out in the back? I have a FL in now but I don't ever glue down the back. What does the back of a LF wig look like anyways? There's no line of demarcation like a full lace wig so ... what does it ook like?

Any pics? Any suggestions? Thanks!

These are some lace front cap constructions.  Basically they have an adjustable strap at the nape, however it can be tweaked to look better for a high ponytail.  This is how I do mine.

Hope this answers your question a bit.

I wear my lf's in high/low ponytails all the time. The trick is to make sure you either bleach your knots or faux bleach them to perfection, and make sure the density on your temples, nape and overall hairline is fairly thin/ and realistic. When pulling the hair back I like to tie down the perimeter while I manipulate the hair upward, then take the tie off, and slick back the edges.

I also like to tease the hairline to appear a little nappy such that when I slick back the edges it appears to be untamed real edges. If the hairline and nape line are thick it will always look like a wig and if you go wild with the baby hairs, that too will make it appear as a wig. I rarely post pics, but I posted pics in the "Random LF thoughts" on page 27 or 28 and 29, and some of them illustrate my lf pulled back taut.

I have found that cutting the lower nape section out of my LF and sewing in a few combs works great for my high ponytails. I blend my own hair into the back of the wig and it looks really natural.
