I found the perfect virgin full lace wig on Aliexpress for a good price!
Only problem is it's not glueless. I'm new to full lace wigs and I REALLY need this as I am shaving my hair and wearing the wig to assist with my journey to grow it. So can I just get some clips (like the ones on clip in extesions) and dew them on for security? Or should I do what the young lady in the video below is doing?
Also, I have a widow's peak - can I just place the wig behind my hair line like this young lady did? - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmCyrjFMh5A&list=PLbS2Q9LIBx9yPlQMGkN0uxNvBCDhIjo8n&index=2 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmCyrjFMh5A&list=PLbS2Q9LIBx9yPlQMGkN0uxNvBCDhIjo8n&index=2 |
I'm confused. What would be your reasoning for the clip-in extensions? Adding clip-in extensions would only add length to your wig, not help your wig be more secure. Honestly, if you're looking to add length to your wig, order one with more length. If you found the perfect texture wig, but it does not come in the length you want, you can just sew in the weave wefts into the back and sides of the wig. I did that a few months ago in one of my wigs & it looks great [just have to make sure the tracks are covered though..].
On the other hand however, if you were looking for more security on your wig, just sew combs into the back and the sides of the wig. Or try the Tootsie's Mom Method [just do a google search for it, or type that into YouTube if you don't know what it is].
